Bovada Casino Review

One of my favorite places to play blackjack online is Bovada Casino, formerly known as Casino Bodog. There are so many reasons that this casino is one of my favorites, allow me to review a couple of them now.

First there is no reason to shy away from this casino because of a name change. The operators promise that is still the same great experience and login information will all be transferred over seamlessly.

Bovada has always offered great promotions, and it’s not stopping anytime soon. Along with the large variety of 120 different casino games, there is also great customer service to guide you along in your gambling. There is a live chat available 24/7 that can provide you with all the answers to your questions.

Bovada is trying to create a brand “not unlike the Virgin brand venture” and they are doing a very good job of it. Just this past year they have ventures into the coffee market, and have been very successful thus far.

Your first chip purchase at Casino Bodog is matched up to $500 and there are specials running all week. When I’m not playing blackjack I’m playing slots, and Bovada loves their slot players.

Casino Bovada is ranked 13th worldwide in overall online casino traffic and that number seems to be getting better with every aspect they improve within their company. If you are looking to have a great time playing online casino games then Bovada is a sure bet, go play!

What would you say if I said I can show you where there is one and two deck blackjack on the internet? Would you be interested? Because I surely was.  I’ve always played at Bodog, but when I was there the other day I saw that they had two new options: 1 deck blackjack and 2 deck blackjack. I was so excited I started playing immediately.

I take that back, I didn’t start playing immediately; I looked up what the differences were between one deck blackjack and multiple deck blackjack. I searched a bunch of tutorial videos on YouTube.com until I finally thought I was ready to conquer the game. I also learned that it has the best theoretical player advantage out of all blackjack games in the casino.

Since there were far less cards involved, I knew that the rules were going to vary a little bit. The only difference I could see was only being able to double on your first two cards dealt, as well as only being able to split once. I noticed that the pace of play is so much longer with one or two decks, that these rules were most likely purely for speed of play.

I bet the minimum bet of $25 and lost the first couple hands. Then I doubled down and won. There is no surrender or insurance in this version so I had to play with extra care. And like I said the pace was a bit slower, I was hitting sometimes up to 6 times, when I’m used to only once or twice.

I switched over to two decks after a while and didn’t see any huge difference between the two. The rules were the same, the minimum bet just got smaller and there was an insurance option.

After I played at Bodog I went on http://www.gambling101.org/ to try to find more online casinos offering this special version of blackjack.
